Welcome to my Muscle Walk Personal Fundraising page supporting Team Andrew!

Paul and I adopted Andrew from foster care. He came into our home when he was 17 months old, and had already endured more than many people do in their entire lifetimes.  He was drug and alcohol exposed in utero, and was place in foster care at birth.  During his early months in foster care, he was abused by his assigned foster parents, and during that time was also diagnosed with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. After the abuse was discovered, he spent time in the local orphanage, and then was placed in a temporary foster home until he ended up home with us. 

Andrew is a sweet, funny, loving and determined boy who lives every day to the fullest. He brings joy to everyone around him.  If you want to get to know him a little better, click on the video to the right.
