Hello,
My name is Jason Ritter. I am 13 years old, I attend school in Phoenix, AZ and I am in the eighth-grade; I am also a Boy Scout with Troop 439 in Desert Hills AZ. where I have achieved the Rank of Life Scout.
In September 2012, I was diagnosed with Emery Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy. By November 1st I needed to get a pacemaker put in me since this disease attacked my heart muscle. All of my major muscles will start contracting. My elbows are already contracted.
The reason I'm writing you is to ask for your support as I take on the muscle walk to help fight for people with my disease. You can join my team on the walk on March 23, 2013 at Tempe Town Lake or you can sponsor my team with a donation. The money that I collect with my team will go to research for Emery Dreifuss since only three thousand people in the world have this disease and very little is known about it.
Registration starts at 7 AM on March 23, 2013. The walk starts at 9 AM.
