The reason I am supporting MDA is because of the great work they have done for me and do for all people like me with
a neuromuscular disease. MDA provides millions of dollars every year for research to cure hundreds of neuromuscular diseases from muscular dystrophy to Parkinson's to ALS.
I have Becker muscular dystrophy, and every day MDA researchers are working hard to cure people like me. But, in addition to facilitating tireless research, MDA provides vital information and referral to make sure that people with neuromuscular diseases have access to the services they need to live fulfilling lives. Most importantly, MDA inspires people to make a difference and to live their lives to the fullest no matter what obstacles are in their way.
I have muscular dystrophy, but that didn't stop me from getting through law school, and it doesn't stop me from working as an attorney every day to fight for the rights of people with disabilities. MDA provided me with the support and inspiration to accomplish what I have. Please support them in supporting my journey and the journey of so many others affected by neuromuscular diseases.
