Join us in the MDA Muscle Walk and we need your help!
In 2009 we received devestating news that our son Jorge Meza III who is 5 years old now was diagnosed with duchenne's muscular dystrophy which at this time there is no cure for. The effects of this disease are the muscles begin to weaken causing the child the inability to walk at around 12 years of age. The heart and lung muscles also are affected and begin to weaken. In 2011 we were also told our twin boys Elias and Ezekiel Meza were diagnosed with the same. Our family has been blessed with the miraculous strength and peace of God.
Family and Friends please unite with us on this journey of Hope for a Cure not only for our children but all the other children and adults affected by this disease and many other nueromuscular diseases.
We chose MDA because of all the incredible things they do for our familiy and all the many families they serve in our community.
