Most people don't know that I had a brother who suffered from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; he died exactly one week before I was born. The older I get, and even more so when I consider the wonderful relationships I have with my siblings, the more I wish I could have had the opportunity to meet the brother I have heard so much about.

MDA strives to find treatments and cures for more than 40 neuromuscular diseases, including Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. These diseases affect more than 1 million Americans alone and when I consider all the individuals and families who are suffereing as a result, all I want to do is help. Please help my team reach our goal and contribute to finding better treatments, and hopefully cures, to these terrible diseases. If we can raise enough money to ease the suffering for even just one person, then it's well worth it. Remember, ever dollar counts.
