Welcome to my Muscle Walk Personal Fundraising page!
I am excited about our upcoming MDA Muscle Walk 2013 which will take place on February 23rd! My son Cameron, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2007. This a terminal disease that takes the life of these boys around their early twenties. As of now, there is no cure for this terminal disease, but recent developments and significant break throughs point towards a cure not to far in the future. I am raising money so that one day boys like my son that are born with this disease will be able to live a long and prosperous life. I'm asking you to help in anyway you can, whether that is by raising money, donating your time, recruiting additional team members, or simply saying a silent prayer. I will be organizing events before the Muscle Walk with the hopes of reaching my goal of raising $10,000. If anyone has any ideas of fundraising, I absolutely welcome your suggestions. One thing I learned is you can't do it all by yourself....it takes a team!! All money raised will go towards finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I look forward to this wonderful event that I hope you can be apart of!!
