Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Martinez Community Leaders are going Behind Bars For Good!
They say doing time changes you. That couldn’t be more true when business and community leaders agree to be part of the MDA Lock-Up! By agreeing to do time, these leaders from all around Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Martinez go behind bars at Claim Jumper as they raise bail money to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The MDA Lock-Up is a community event that is a unique and fun way to help local children and adults who live with muscle disease. By being an MDA Jailbird, you’ll ask your family, friends and business contacts to make donations to your “bail”, which are funds that will help MDA in its mission of curing muscular dystrophy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and related diseases by funding worldwide research, providing comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
Your bail money will go directly towards supporting the Contra Costa County families living with muscular dystrophy and the $2,000 goal will help send local children to the MDA summer camp held in Occidental, CA at the end of July. For more information, or if you'd like to visit camp during our "Sponsor Day" please contact us! We'd love to see you there!
