Help me help others!
Over the last year I have found my passion in biking. In May I will be participating in a bike race where the proceeds are donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This organization works to raise money, awareness, research, and hope to those individuals living with ALS, muscular dystrophy, and other related diseases. I have personally seen the effects of ALS and want nothing more than to help. Raising money for a great cause and biking for those who can't sure seems like a great way to help!
Along with other members of the BigRing Flyers we have created a team titled The ALS Breakaway for the event. I pledge to raise $500 but our team goal is $3,000.
Did you know that muscular dystrophy, ALS and related disease take away everyday freedoms like walking, running, hugging and even breathing? That's why I'm participating in an event on behalf of MDA. MDA helps fund ground-breaking research across diseases, provides critical care from the first day of diagnosis and empowers families with services and support in hometowns across America.
Please join me by making a donation! With your support, we'll move toward a future in which kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases live longer and grow stronger.
