I'm raising money to help kids and adults break free from the harmful effects of ALS – will you help me?
No one should have to lose their sense of hope and passion to live when they hear the words "you have ALS." No family member should be delivered the news that their son, in his mid-twenties, has ALS and can expect to live for 3-5 years. This is the devastating news that my family was delivered in the fall of 2011.
The impact that this diagnosis has had on my life is profound. It brought an already tight knit family closer together. It introduced me to a new community of people in need of social and medical support. AND it introduced me to the Muscular Dystrophy Association!
Through MDA I have found strength, support from amazing new colleagues, friends, medical professionals and researchers. I feel responsible to help bring an end to ALS so that no other family has to go through the heart ache that my family endured.
Please consider joining the fight to find a cure by making a donation to my fundraising page or riding alongside me on Saturday May 19th! Together we can unite to end ALS!
