Mount Olivet Lodge A.F. & A.M. is Supporting MDA & ALS Awareness
I’m supporting MDA this October, and I’d like you to join me! I am Louis Ciano III, electrical worker for IBEW 717 in Subway at the Everett Shops, and the soon to be three year Master of Mount Olivet Lodge A.F & A.M., a Freemason Lodge, dedicated to charity, at 1950 Massachusetts Ave, in Cambridge MA, I am also a proud member and presiding Treasurer of the Low Twelve Midnight Riders Masonic Bikers of Mass. as well as a member of The Boston Chapter of Harley Owners Group 3905, the wonderful Chapter that puts on this ride each and every year, located at Boston Harley dealership in Revere, the starting point for the MDA Witch Ride. For the last 5 years, I have been honored for being the top fundraiser for the 2013 through 2017 Witch Rides by raising over $12,000.00 total. I am proud to be representing all of these organizations in this ride but as in previous years, I am also riding in for ALS awareness (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” as my close friend by the name of Steven Agostinelli succumbed to ALS in July of 2015. I continue to ride in his honor from then on for awareness and hope for a cure. ALS, like Muscular Dystrophy, is a terrible disease we must to find a cure for. So whether or not you sponsor me in the MDA Witch Ride, please read about and support ALS and muscle disease research, do what it takes to help bring a cure to the forefront.
Last year, I was able to raise $1520.00 for the MDA. This year, and for my eleventh consecutive ride as well as the 12 times in 13 years, I will be riding with thousands of others to raise money for The Muscular Dystrophy Summer camps which all of the proceeds of this ride, pay for the children with these muscle diseases to attend these camps for no cost. These are all great causes and a fantastic motorcycle ride in which thousands come out to support. Please join me if you can on the ride if you can this October 14, 2018. I cannot thank everyone enough for the overwhelming support I have received over the last few years. It has been an amazing run and seeing the kids go to summer camp for free is the icing on the cake. Thank you again!
