I'm supporting MDA, and I'd like you to join me!
On March 12, 2013 I will be joining a group of wonderful ladies for the 6th Annual Harley Davidson Women's Ride for MDA in Daytona Beach, FL. The Tuesday morning during Bike Week. a parade of women motorcyclists, sponsored by Bruce Rossmeyer Harley Davidson, will ride to help the MDA.
Last year there were just over 160 women riders and I'd LOVE to see that number continue to increase, as it has with each new event. I have Friedreich's Ataxia (FA), which has left me to become dependent on a wheelchair for mobility. My body may be deteriorating, my speech may be slurred, but my spirit continues to grow stronger and stronger with each day. And, I owe that to many of you, the supporters of all the many neuromuscular diseases. Great Time, Great cause!
Hopefully, one day I will be able to ride a Harley Davidson by myself - Let there be a cure in my lifetime!
