As members of MDA Team Momentum and care providers at the MDA Care Center at St. Charles Hospital, we are dedicating our miles, muscles and personal finish line to helping kids and adults we see living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases live longer and grow stronger. This year we are running the Army Ten-Miler as Team St. Charles MDA. Currently our team is Care Center Co-Director Dr. Scott McWilliams, Care Center Coordinator Monica Scharrer RN, Care Center Nurse Practitioner (and Army Nurse Major) Cindy Storetveit NP, and OEF Army Veteran Ryan Storetveit.
Every step we take while training for and racing in the Army Ten-Miler in Washington DC on October 13, 2019 will help MDA fund groundbreaking research to accelerate treatments and cures and provide care and support for families who are counting on us.
This is where you come in. Your donation will help save and improve the lives of individuals with muscular dystrophy and the families who love them. Thanks in part to MDA Team Momentum participants and donors, MDA anticipates more new treatments in development during the next five years than in the previous five decades combined. Let's keep and build this momentum. Please consider making a donation to support me in my upcoming race today. Thank you in advance for your support!
