Thanks for stopping by my personal page!
Two years ago, my friend Kristin Willer, was training for the NYC Marathon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). She was running for her son, Jack, who has MD. I looked forward to Kristin's frequent updates on how her training was going. Kristin and I grew up together in Scituate and both attended NDA where we ran track. It wasn't until we reconnected as adults because of our shared love for running that our friendship deepended. I loved hearing about her adventures and she was a big cheerleader for me, always checking in with support and encouragement.
Two months before the NYC Marathon, Kristin was diagnosed with colon cancer. She fought a hard fight and passed away 14 months later. I have decided to run the NYC Marathon in her memory, for her son Jack, and to raise funds for MDA .
As a member of MDA Team Momentum, I’m dedicating my miles to help kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related muscle-debilitating diseases live longer and grow stronger. Every step I take during training and racing will help MDA fund groundbreaking research to accelerate treatments and cures and provide care and support for families who are counting on us.
This is where you come in. Your donation will help save and improve the lives of individuals with muscular dystrophy and the families who love them. Any contribution that you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!
