Welcome to My Personal Page
In April of 2019 we lost my uncle, Pat Barron, to ALS (less than 4 months after his diagnosis). Uncle Pat was my dad's closest brother (a mere 366 days apart) and was like a second father to me growing up. I miss his quirkiness, his kindness, his affinity for Budweisers, and the fact that he made me laugh every single time we interacted. He was a proud and goofy irishman whose funeral was "standing room only" because of how many lives he touched. He was a great, great human who was deeply loved because he was so generous with his time and humor.
When Pat passed away we made a commitment to contribute to the fight against ALS. It is a particularly mean and cruel disease that is not hereditary and appears to strike at random; anyone could be afflicted and there is very, very little known about the disease. I want to turn our losing Pat into additional research for ALS, MDA, and other muscle-debilitating diseases. My first step is to participate in this fundraising race here in San Francisco and I set a fundraising target of $5,000 to help put a dent into our donation.
This is where you come in... Your donation will help save and improve the lives of individuals with ALS, muscular dystrophy, and other muscle-debilitating diseases so that we can find a cure in my lifetime.
From the core of my heart, thank you for your consideration.
