Another year, another race!
If you know me personally, you know that last year's race was a big one for me, not just because I was continuing to raise money for the MDA, but because I didn't think it would be possible after an accident left me healing up longer than I wanted to. You may also know that I am currently on a run streak, running every single day for over 5 years now, yes, even through the accident and injuries. Every single day I tell myself, I run because I can. I will never take for granted my ability to do what I do. I think about all of the people, including my brother (28) and grandmother (91), who are affected by muscular dystrophy, and it's what keeps me going.
My brother is one of my biggest fans, and is always there to cheer me on with my streak and every race, and I tell him that he is the one that keeps me fighting and running the most. We WILL see results, we WILL see treatments, and we WILL see it in his lifetime, and it's because of people like you who donate to the MDA.
As a member of MDA Team Momentum, I’m dedicating my miles, muscles and personal finish line to helping kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases live longer and grow stronger.
Every step and every penny will help MDA fund groundbreaking research to accelerate treatments and cures and provide care and support for families who are counting on us.
This is where you come in. Your donation will help save and improve the lives of individuals with muscular dystrophy and the families who love them. Thanks in part to MDA Team Momentum participants and donors, MDA anticipates more new treatments in development during the next five years than in the previous five decades combined. Let’s keep and build this momentum. Please consider making a donation to support me in my upcoming race today. Thank you in advance for your support!
